Tenuta Casanova wines meet the Tuscan traditional food, a unique opportunity to taste a savory selection of delicious dishes while sipping a full glass of Chianti wine.
Surrounded by a beautiful Tuscan landscape between rosemary and olives, the guests will delight with Casanova products such as wines, olive oil, vinegar and honey. Then they will be taken by Silvano into the cellar to admire two limited edition: Super Tuscans and Dincanto – just 500 bottles production every year – and in the nearby Acetaia with old vinegars.
And if during the wine tasting it’s lunch time and the guests are hungry it’s possible to taste the house’s specialty: crostini, cinta senese, Balsamic Vinegar, chickpeas, beans, tomatoes, season vegetables (collected from our organic garden), honey with cheese, mushrooms, with a good glass of Chianti Classico and Facile Innamorarsi (Easy to Fall in Love). Then the lunch continue with the famous fresh pastas such as: tagliatelle or tagliolini, or the typical ravioli of Maremma, stuffed with fresh ricotta and herbs, as well as potato gnocchi seasoned with traditional sauces, pesto, truffle.
Then, with a different price, it’s possible to eat different kind of meat, such as chicken, pork and cinta senese. The meal ends with ice cream and Balsamic Vinegar or other different sweets, accompanied by an excellent dessert wine: Medioevum.
All guests can buy the products of Tenuta Casanova just in the farm or by website, because Silvano and Rita don’t sell their products in supermarkets, shops, restaurants or hotels.
